The Divide: Gender Concerns and Sexual Ethics – We all wear labels. Worse, each of those labels come along with a fully written script for a part we are expected to play. Jesus, however, sees people not labels. People who are free to pursue the unique path he’s got for them. When we live like Jesus and see people, not labels, we set others free from accepting and living out the same, tired narratives they’re trapped in. And then, God is able to surprise us by what we learn about people, without first reading the scripts.
