3 Things To Know For This Week

Summer Sessions:
End of Summer Party!

All 6-12th grade students are invited to our end of Summer, tie-dye themed, 100 ft slip ‘n slide party! We’ve loved getting a chance to have all of our Middle School and High Schoolers hang out together, and find growth & connection in various ways. We hope to see you this Wednesday for all the fun!

Whole Life: Action Teams

In this upcoming season, which area of Whole Life do you want to grow? Take some time to reflect and pray on this question, then when you’re ready, sign up for one or more Fall Action Teams that correlates with your desired area. There are teams for everyone: if you’re looking for family activities, care and support, serving your community, or meeting new people.

Kids Ministry:
Back Next Week!

Kids Ministry is kicking off on August 21st! We are excited to make connections with your kids, knowing each of them by name, showing them they matter, and helping them learn that their identity is grounded in Christ. If you have not attended before, be sure to register them at

5 Questions to dig deeper into this week’s topic:
Use them for group discussion or journal prompts for personal study.
  1. Samaritans were despised as foreign infidels, incapable of true worship. Re-read Luke 10:25-37 with that in mind. What do you notice now?
  2. What character do you most identify with in the reading for this week: the legal expert, Jesus, the injured man, the Priest & Levite, or the Samaritan? Why?
  3. Think about your relationship with your work (it can be a career you’re still preparing for or work you’re now retired from). Is it in a healthy place? Or have you confused your work with your calling? How do you know?
  4. God’s greatest question isn’t, “Are you good?” but, “Are you mine?” What does this mean to you? What would it look like to accept this calling in your life?
  5. Starting from who you are called to BE and then thinking about how that affects what you DO, what’s one thing you will do differently this week as you try to live out of a true sense of calling?

Share Your Prayer Needs

We may not be together, but we are with you spiritually. Romans 12:11-12 says, “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
