There’s a difference between the Church failing and God failing. But for many people, those two ideas are linked. Does the decline of American Christianity mean that God is irrelevant, or is there a more powerful reality going on? Just as God created the world from nothing and brought new life (reformation) out of the broken medieval church 500 years ago, can we trust that God is able to create something new in our midst?
