Summer Internship Program Values
Life Change
We seek to offer various ways for you to experience God’s true, loving character. As a result, we believe life change will happen within you and prompt an eagerness in you to take next steps on your journey.
Learning
One of the greatest gifts of this internship is the opportunity to learn. You’ll hear messages, participate in discussions, and engage in leadership development that will help you tackle real-life issues, situations, questions, and emotions.
Discovery
This internship is about understanding more of yourself, deepening your relationship with God, and utilizing your gifts/passions so that you can discover clarity and find your path forward.
Connection & Community
Primarily for you and God. Secondarily, with our staff, your internship cohort, your specific ministry team, your mentor, and your developing relationships with the volunteers and people we serve.
Expected Outcomes
- You will experience hands-on ministry experience while enhancing your resume.
- You will sharpen your gifts and talents and push past your comfort zone through one-on-one development with your assigned mentor.
- You will learn directly from the leaders and staff on a variety of topics that will stretch, grow, and equip you as a leader.
- You will learn and observe what it is to have a Whole Life in Jesus Christ.
