You are not your past.

Like the stuff in our storage room that we move from house to house, we carry the baggage of our sins and pasts from one year to the next. More than the guilt that comes with them, we begin to see ourselves through the lens of those failures. Instead, God has promised us that our sins are not only forgiven, but they are removed from us. They can’t haunt us and surely don’t define us anymore.
