Life with God is an adventure. Although we all have different temperaments for the unexpected, it certainly makes life more exciting. Not only that, so many of our stresses and anxieties come from trying to fulfill our own plans, as if they are the most important things. A world full of people following their own self-created playbooks is no kind of world to live in. God is inviting us into a better way.
