My 87-year-old next-door neighbor, Maryanne, lives alone and is pretty frail. She is recovering from a broken hip. I know she doesn’t get many home-cooked meals. I have been taking her home-cooked meals at least once a week and will continue to do so. She really enjoys them and is so happy and appreciative to receive them. My husband, Jeff, also puts out her trash can and brings it back up every week.
