The wilderness is a place of unpredictability. Most of us would rather deal with the devil we know than risk the possibility of a future that’s unknown! But during times of testing or difficulty, lack, stress, God has always been present with his people. Not only is he present, but he is our scout going ahead of us, leading the way, and providing for our needs in tangible-yet-miraculous ways, allowing us to see things that we can never again unsee.
