True-to-Life Approach

Sometimes the deeper people go into Christianity, the more pious, churchy, and detached they become from the world. They become (as the old saying goes), “So heavenly minded that they are of no earthly good!” Contrast that to Jesus, who being as “otherworldly” as they come, approached people in a down to earth way that was winsome and transformational. Those who can bring their faith to bear in the trenches of real life are the people who have the attention of a misguided world.
