In many of our families, we’re no “us” at all, we’re a group of people who are all chasing individual interests, separate dreams. Instead of collaborating, we compete for limited resources, creating winners and losers among our own flesh and blood. But the healthiest and happiest households are united behind a singular cause, and each person understands the unique contribution they can make to that cause. Identifying a common mission is required to unite a group of “me”s into an unstoppable “we.”
