You have a gift for illuminating things that are murky. You notice the littlest things. You’re more awake to everything. Your “Ah ha” moments are insightful and prove to be true. Along the way you’ve learned not to take things at face value; there’s always a deeper story to be read. And so you are suspicious of most things until you have traced out the deeper story. That includes people’s attempts to love and connect with you. You view them as emotional distractions that you can’t trust, that are smoke and mirrors. As a result, you use knowledge and the search for truth to build walls around yourself to protect yourself from being devoured, to hold back something for yourself, but that leaves you isolated and alone from people and God, and unable to enjoy what you’ve kept back for yourself.
