We live in a time of darkness and confusion. Christians seem to defend sexual predators, while Hollywood is holding abusers morally accountable. How do we see clearly what is going on around us? We have to follow Jesus’ guiding light. We can’t rely on our own intuition or cultural values to illuminate the situation, because these are the very things that have led us into this time of darkness and confusion. We may not be able to understand everything, but Jesus gives us enough light to see our personal path, as well as how not to be led astray, like moths, by these other “lights.”
