The Divide: God / Mankind – Jesus is great for many reasons, but more than anyone, Jesus made a life out of crossing any and all divides. From the moment he crossed into our world at his birth, Jesus never stopped crossing the divides that kept people from each other and especially from God. Easter is a celebration of Jesus’ work, crossing into the chasm of death and returning with death defeated and life in hand for all of us. Not just any life though, a life where we are now reconciled to God and each other.
