The only way you can change culture is by changing people’s hearts. When we share Jesus and the gospel with people, this is a recipe to change hearts and that is what has changed nations.
“With everything going on in our world right now, I’m going to encourage you to slow down, take a breath, read, study, pray, do not rush to conclusions, and do not jump to judgements prematurely.”
Look for those rainbows and know that God is at work.
Look at someone with new eyes. Take a moment, not just to glance at someone, but to see them. See what God is conveying through that person.
Rainbows come on the heels of the most dark, stormy, chaotic, threatening moments. And so, people of God, as our world looks dark, it’s time for us to look for God’s rainbows.
Jesus has invited us to build our lives on something that is solid, and that is on Him and on His word.
We are REOPENING Worship this weekend, May 30th & 31st! Listen to Pastor Dion’s latest Hope Update on details about reopening, times, and directions. You can also visit https://pathfinderstl.org/reopening/ for additional information.
Don’t make friends with fear. Instead, renew yourself in the promise of God and go forward in courage. Practice not making friends with fear and living in faith.
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:13-14 YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made!
We are not alone. He is with us. GOD’S GOT THIS!
We are all trying to do our best. We are called to a responsibility, but never a hyper-responsibility. God holds your life.
Whatever feels so dead, and dry, and hopeless, and lifeless, our God has the power to speak anything back to life again!
There is always room for hope. If we focus on the doom and gloom, our hearts will get way down, but a kind, hopeful word can cheer it up. Be people of hope.
“If you just take time to observe, you will see just how much God is for you in the here and now.”
God is reminding us of the power and the blessing of the simplest things.
We are all on a journey. We are all growing. This is your HOPE update.
“In what ways is God growing you through all this?”
“Even though we live in time of uncertainty, we have promises from Jesus himself that we don’t have to worry.”
“Hope that is seen is no hope at all.”
“There is nothing that can come against us. We have hope.”
“When we humble ourselves before God, when we call upon the name of God, we really have nothing to fear.”
“No matter how long this lasts, we’re going to come out of this better, we will be refined.” Take this opportunity and ask the question, “Is God redirecting us?”
“There’s a lot to be hopeful for, so let’s be hopeful for the things that we can see today.” Hope is in the air! Taking it day by day, hope by hope, giving gratitude, is now essential as we continue living in this new reality.
Are you wanting to spread more joy and prayer instead of seeing fear and worry? Then we have a challenge for you! More specifically a prayer challenge that is unique to what we are all experiencing right now.
God is WITH us and FOR us. Don’t forget it.
